Felipe is a philanthropic investment professional who has devoted his career to the intersection of popular culture, tech, social justice & democracy. He created and led the global Narrative Change program at Luminate – a philanthropic firm where he served as Vice President. While at Luminate, Felipe also led impact investments in civic technology and digital media startups, as well as grants on tech & AI policy worldwide.

Felipe has been an executive producer in films such as The Territory (Emmy Winner / NatGeo), State of Silence (Netflix), and Apocalypse in the Tropics (Netflix). Every film he has financed has been acquired by distributors. Felipe is also currently a fellow at Harvard’s Shorenstein Center.
